Kent Team in Top Three at Princes Trust Awards

Tuesday, March 15th, 2011

The University of Kent Team for the Princes Trust Million £ Makers, attended the regional finals at the Century Club in Shaftesbury Avenue on the evening of Monday 28th February. The University of Kent were in the top three University teams in the region competing against 17 other Universities. The awards were handed out by the recent Apprentice show participant – Laura Moore.

The team (Dan Medlen, Deep Nagda, James Kent and Robert Finnerty- all first year Accountancy students at Kent Business School) chatted with Laura,  who had briefly studied at the University of Kent. As well as the University awards, there were many corporate teams at the event, and a great night for networking opportunities.

The University of Kent team were awarded their certificates – and are keen to pull a larger team together to compete next year!
