Work Placements
Your degree will undoubtedly open the door to the career you want, but competition for jobs is fierce. You can increase your employability by showing practical experience of business skills and the best way to do this is to take up a work placement. This will ensure your CV stands out from the crowd when applying for the position you want and will give you that extra advantage. A work placement is also your chance to add another dimension to the theory you have learnt during your degree and to start putting it into practice.

This year UoK has been asked to enter a team in the Princes Trust Million £ Makers. This is all about getting a team of enterprising students, interested in working together to organise and run a plan to make £2500 for Princes Trust who will in turn offer the opportunity to the team to meet companies with some great work placement opportunities.
