Who are we?

FlyingStart Make it Happen is part of the National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship, an organisation dedicated to supporting students and graduates in making the positive step of starting their own business or becoming self employed.

We have 5,000 free places available on Make it Happen Day’s providing you with all you need to know about self employment and starting a business. And then helping you to Make it Happen!

Global Enterprise Week 16 – 20th November!

18th November 2009 saw the third Flying Start Workshops open to Kent and Canterbury Students on making the most of your skills and ‘Stepping up and Standing Out’

Jemma Newham a local entrepreneur who started Shake Shed and was a recent finalist in the Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBA) opened the event

Aa free lunch was provided by local caterers ‘Chives’ and students were able meet and ‘network’ with like minded colleagues, local businesses and business support agencies who were there.
