The UoK Business Ideas Competition is closed now for 2010, but watch this space for next year’s competition
An opportunity to write up that ‘great’ idea you’ve had in the back of your mind since forever or enter your own business that you are running - and win from the £5,000 prize pot.
Developing an idea is a valuable skill. Developing an idea that may become a business could become essential. Entering this competition allows you to go through the basic processes – thinking of the idea, the market, the costs, the return. Entering will be valuable experiential learning, which looks great on the CV and prizes are available. All students who participate will be recognised with a participation certificate.
This competition is open to all students currently registered on a University of Kent degree programme who have an innovative or creative business idea.
The Competition is in two stages
Firstly, complete the entry form. Then return your entry form roundone@kent.ac.uk. You will then get feedback from a business advisor to help prepare for part two.
2. Top eight entries will be invited to deliver a two minute presentation about your idea to the judging panel.
The presentation will be assessed by a panel of judges and will be marked in confidence.
